The giant South Tambeiskoye gas condensate field lies on the remote Yamal Peninsula, in West Siberia. The peninsula is the main LNG production centre in Russia as well as a major contributor to Russian gas production.The 35 tcf South Tambeiskoye field supplies feedgas to Yamal LNG, a three train 16.5 mmtpa facility.
