Report summary
Oil The largest fields within the concession are Bab, Bu Hasa and Asab for which we estimate a combined oil initially in place (OIIP) of more than 150 billion barrels. Our reserves estimates are based on the production outlook. We include the volumes that were produced before the expiry of the original contract in January 2014, under the ADCO (1939-2014) license, and those that remain to be produced after this date under the ADNOC Onshore license. We have also added reserves after the license expiry in 2054 under ADNOC Onshore (Post Contract). In 2020, ADNOC announced an increase in of 2 billion barrels in conventional oil reserves in Abu Dhabi, attributing much of the volumes to ADNOC Onshore's Al Nouf field (previously Al Dabbiya). Gas and NGLs The associated and non-associated gas reserves are shown under a separate joint venture, ADNOC Gas Processing. Further details are included within the ADNOC Gas Processing asset report.
